Arrive Auckland
On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your city hotel (self drive clients collect your rental car on arrival). Known as the ‘City of Sails’, Auckland is New Zealand's largest and most vibrant city offering an array of cosmopolitan experiences. Enfolded by two huge harbours, Auckland is an environment that's alive with cultural excitement and sea-flavoured challenges.

Golf at Gulf Harbour
This morning travel north, (approx 1 hour) to Whangaparoa Peninsula for a round at Gulf Harbour Country Club. This Robert Trent Jones 11 designed championship course combines spectacular ocean views and rolling terrain that combine to make Gulf Harbour one of NZ’s most challenging courses. The course has four tee positions enabling golfers of all abilities to enjoy the challenging layout.

Waiheke Island Grape Escape
It’s a 35-minute ferry ride to Waiheke Island this morning. Since the late 1970’s Waiheke’s benign Mediterranean climate has seen the growth of a flourishing wine industry. A “small is beautiful” philosophy yields low quantities of extremely high quality fruit, which is made into international award-winning wines. Enjoy lunch (own expense) on an escorted wine tour of some of Waiheke’s boutique vineyards. Later in the afternoon take the ferry back to Auckland.

Golf at Titirangi Golf Club
Play 18 holes of golf at Titirangi Golf Club. Recent course updates and the subtle cunning of one of the great masters of golf design – Dr Alister MacKenzie – provide interest, variety and a true golfer's test at his only New Zealand masterpiece. With its dramatic undulation, deep gullies, trees and especially its bunkering, Titirangi has a similar feel to Mackenzie’s Pasatiempo, even Augusta, with the pine straw beneath the trees, on perhaps a slightly less grand canvas. The fairways are firm, fast and well drained the subtle pure poa greens are generally large and can be extremely slick.
